Mari Bartram

Studio Manager, Pilates Instructor,

Pilates came into Mari’s life during a time of change and transition and quickly became a consistent and grounding force. It seemed almost fortuitous that her true calling was to guide others on their own path to wellness and inner strength through Pilates.

As someone who has always prioritized movement and wellness, Mari understands the importance of staying active as we age. And that’s what makes Pilates so special—it’s designed for every body, regardless of age or fitness level.

In addition to teaching, Mari also serves as Studio Manager, helping ensure that every client’s experience is welcoming, supportive, and seamless—from the moment they walk through the door to the time they leave feeling stronger and more centered. Her ability to balance organization with care allows the studio to thrive as both a professional and compassionate space.

Mari has a deep empathy for beginners; she relates to the challenges and apprehensions newcomers may face and is passionate about guiding her clients to be their best selves.

Meghan Marshall

Pilates & Yoga Instructor

Meghan has been teaching Ashtanga yoga since 2008. She runs a morning Mysore program in South Philly and teaches evening and weekend Ashtanga classes at Opal. For years, yoga was her absolute favorite thing—until she discovered Pilates. Now, she’s passionate about both!

Pilates has completely transformed Meghan’s yoga practice, helping her identify movement patterns and build a stronger core. She loves sharing these insights with others, blending her expertise in both disciplines to support students in moving with strength and ease.

When she’s not teaching, Meghan is busy trying to survive life as a mom to four tweenage girls. For her, both Yoga and Pilates are more than just movement practices; they’re essential tools for navigating life with resilience and grace.

Catherine Kennedy

Pilates Instructor

Catherine joins Opal Wellness Studio after spending the past decade living and working in the New York City area.

Her goal as a teacher is to help people find peace and confidence in their bodies through Pilates. She’s especially passionate about introducing Pilates to those who have yet to experience its powerful impact on overall well-being.

Catherine holds a comprehensive Pilates certification from Gramercy Pilates, along with a Mat and Anatomy certification from New York Pilates, and a personal training certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). She recently completed her Classical Mat certification at Opal Wellness Studio and is currently working toward her Classical Comprehensive Equipment certification.

Mira Rucker

Pilates and ELDOA Instructor, Bodyworker

Movement has always been Mira's language—from team sports to Pilates, yoga, and ELDOA. Each discipline has shaped how she sees strength, balance, and resilience, each discipline has taught her the power of mindful control and deep inner strength. As a massage therapist, Mira brings recovery into the picture, creating space for the body to restore and reset. Beyond her practice, she is a proud mom of three adult children and two dogs who keep life full of love and a little playfulness. Her approach blends structure and flow, science and intuition, intention and joy—helping people feel more connected, capable, and at home in their bodies.

Bo Lee

Pilates Instructor

Diagnosed with an autoimmune condition, Bo discovered Pilates as a way to heal and reconnect with my body. The practice became a powerful tool in managing symptoms, building strength, and improving overall well-being. Inspired by the transformation she experienced, Bo became certified through Power Pilates and now teach to help others move with greater ease, balance, and confidence.
