Fall is such a busy time with back to school, and as I call it, back to real life. If you love to check out at the beach at the end of the summer, you will totally get what I'm talking about. This transition has felt even more shocking as last year never really happened!
I have a few tips to help ease that transition. Just know that there is no perfection in using these. I'm am hanging on tightly to some of them, and struggling to get on the bus with others. #truth
Protect your sleep. Use all the tricks: Weighted blanket, meditations, screens off, etc.
Move your body everyday, but make sure the way you move your body feels rejuvenating, not exhausting.
Instead of reviewing the schedule on Sunday night or Monday morning. Do a little mini-review of the next day each night. This will help ease they transition to a whole new schedule and pace.
Meal prep. I guarantee there will quickly become a time that you just grab whatever is in the fridge and easy. So make healthy easy!
Enlist help. You know I struggle with this one every day, but it's so, so important!
