Choose Gratitude

Gratitude is often thought of as a feeling, but have you ever considered gratitude as an action? Gratitude as a feeling can be something that you might feel like you just don't have, whereas gratitude as an action is something you can choose!

Here are some of my favorite ways to choose gratitude:

👉🏻 Create a simple gratitude list each morning. The trick to creating a gratitude list is to think of small things a "hug from a kiddo" instead of big things like "my family".
👉🏻 Try a change of wording. Instead of saying you "have to" do something, try saying "I get" to do that same activity.
👉🏻 Slow down. Sometime we are so busy with the busy that we don't have a chance to be grateful.
